Time has been passing quickly in Hangzhou and week 1 went by in a blink of an eye. Feeling more settled down, I was excited to see what the city has to offer in terms of culture, food, and the little nuances that keeps this bustling city running.
In week 2, we helped out in the Hu Shu Special School for their annual sports day event. We had to help set up the tents and resting areas for the students, as well as help in making sure that their Sports Day is held smoothly. Some of us were tasked with bringing the children from one point to another, while others had to pick up balls and hand out the prizes to the winners. It was a tiring but fulfilling day and seeing the wide smiles on the faces of those children made all the work worth it.
