It’s Sunday! We have finally come to the end of the first week. What better way to end the week with one of Singapore’s famed tourist locations – Sentosa!
We left in the morning in hope of spending the whole day there, but by the time we got to the beach, it had started to rain, which is a typical happening in Singapore as we were told.
Undeterred, we made our way to the nearby gift shops and I got a Merlion statue souvenir. Soon, the weather cleared up and we were able to see the thirty-plus feet version of Singapore’s most well-known structure. We continued with our original plan and went along to the beach and spent some time there.
We will be back to work hard from tomorrow. This day off has given us some well-needed break from the competition and was thoroughly enjoyable.
