It’s the day we fly off, and (partial) day 1 at Yangon!
Our flight got delayed so we only reached Yangon at around 7pm SGT or 5.30pm (Myanmar Time/MMT).
My first impression of Myanmar is that there are many insects, and that sunset is really early! The sun was already setting when we were reaching, and was already dark by the time we left the airport.
It was already pretty late, so once we reached the hotel and managed to settle down, we left to explore our surroundings.
After putting down some stuff in my room, I went to the nearby shopping mall with a few friends to grab dinner before going back to the hotel to rest.
We will be visiting the University of Computer Studies, Yangon (UCSY) tomorrow for the first time, am quite excited to interact with the students there and learn with them!
