Waking up early in the morning, I juiced up on coffee and went to the airport to meet up with everyone while my mind was still in a daze. After an obligatory group photo,

we said one last good-bye to our beloved Singaporean food and set off on the flight to Yogyakarta.  The Yogyakarta airport is clean and modern, with an organized layout. We were told that it was built during the last two years during the covid Pandemic. On the way to the hotel, we passed by rice fields and meadows. It feels good to be in the open country. The scenery then slowly changed to the hustle and bustle of the city.

We checked into the hotel afterwards which certainly exceeded our expectations. (Thank you SUTD!!)

We then took a look at the rooftop pool. Wow! Our very own infinity pool right here at Yogyakarta with a view of the Mt Merapi to catch.

We finally ended our day off with some traditional Javanese food at the house of Raminten (I apologize for the horrible image quality) The food was both delicious and affordable. My Ayam goreng came to about 20000 Rupiah which is about SGD$2.
