25 energetic, innovative and cheerful souls who can’t get enough of 3.007 gathered at 0700hrs to embark on our exciting trip to PMU (Prasetiya Mulya University)
Upon arrival in Jakarta, one is immediately struck with the wide and colorful banners plastered around stores promoting the use of e-payment options, most notably, GoPay backed by GoJek & OVO backed by Grab — an apt microcosm of the “super-app” wars raging across ASEAN.

PMU is no exempt from this trend, and while touring their swanky new campus, one cannot help but admire at the QR codes (and generous cashbacks) at their stores, (which according to our PMU guides) are progressively being upgraded to follow the new unified QRIS Standard by Indonesia’s central bank, which enables merchants to easily accept over 12 different e-wallets with a single QR sticker.

Established in 1982 by a team of Indonesia’s leading business executives, PMU is arguably one of Indonesia’s premier business school, to help groom the country’s next generation of business leaders; and one cannot help to draw parallels between PMU & SMU in Singapore.

PMU recently launched its new STEM program, and we coincidentally to be in time to witness their Open House tomorrow. We will keep you updated on our findings! 🙂
