As my time in Daejeon comes to an end, my biggest takeaway from the exchange is the people I met. The locals, and fellow exchange students, undegrads, postgrads, people from all walks of life. This is what exchange is for, to not merely experience being in a different country, in a different physical environment, but to experience different connections with different people from all walks. Our friendship doesn’t just end with the exchange, but lives on spanning borders, and is a thing to treasure.
