If Taiwan has beautiful mountains, I top that with its coastlines.

Before coming to Taiwan, I had toyed with the idea of learning to surf regularly. Alas, when I arrived, there was no avenue in the university. Sailing club was the closest thing to surfing. So I tried it out – it did not disappoint.

We went to Yilan for our third session, after learning how to sail in Dongshan river for the first two sessions. The coach decided it was time for some fun out at sea, so we went for some kayaking.

The temperature was cold and we wore full bodied swim suit. What an experience!

Clear skies and water, amazing weather, and even better company. What more could I ask for.
