Today we are still in the construction of our very on robots. Unlike most team which focus on one robot at a time, we had split our team into 2 sub groups which focus on 2 different robots, the climber and the collector. On my side, I got Naoki (Japanese) and ZhiQiang (Chinese) to construct the collector robot which focused in picking up the pills on the playing filed and drop them in the collector box respectively.

There comes a challenge where the border of the collection box is actually 10cm high, thus the robot must be able to lift the cargo up the distance vertically in order to score the point. To tackle that, we had design our robot with a winch which pulls the cargo up in a 45 degrees angle in order to place them into the box.

This we put our hands dirty in the workshop and hopefully our baby turns out well.
