And as we reached the city centre, the lights lining the canal came alive.

Sometimes the best things in life are close to you, It only takes a little time to find it. After a long day at school focusing on my air purifier project, Wesley, Nicholas and I decided to head down to the town square to see the musical fountain.

We boarded a ferry and it took us down to the city centre.

Just FYI, our school is located really close to the Grand Canal and hence the ferry is just a 5 minute cycle away. Its an interesting way to get to the city centre and it cost about the same as buses.

The ferry wasn’t too crowded, and the boat was really clean
The bridges over the canals had pretty sweet art too. The boat was moving quite a bit but here were the good shots.

And as we reached the city centre, the lights lining the canal came alive.

It was a really nice alternative to sitting on buses and on the upside, there will never be traffic.

This is the exit gate from the ferry. Amazingly beautiful marble archway.

We soon reached the musical fountain. Songs played were actually pretty recognizable. Ode to Joy, The nutcracker to name but 2. The fountain itself was engineered pretty well and flowed well with the music.

All in all, it was a good trip out of school :)And after that, we headed back.
