This week was mostly spent indoors with the news of a typhoon approaching Zhejiang. Many Singaporeans were disappointed as expectations of their first experience of a typhoon were not met due to the typhoon taking a turn for the other direction. Nonetheless, the clear and sunny sky after countless days of rain was very refreshing and definitely to be thankful for. With such great weather, I took the time off (finally) to walk around and explore the campus.

With the vast lands in China, I stand in awe of the size and beauty of Zhejiang University Zijingang Campus. Even within the campus itself, the scenery and sights are amazing. Being a nature-lover, it would be really nice if campuses in Singapore are like this.

It is in my nature to learn, to grow, to help others, to teach, to explore, and to be fascinated with the unknown. With a keen interest in music, I play the tuba in the symphonic band and also the piano. Music is magical, and it never fails to amaze me how effectively it can connect people regardless of race, language, ethnicity and geographical proximity. Similarly, with my new-found passion in computing and programming, I aspire to create programs that does the same and to solve their problems, but in a slightly different, more technical approach.
