The day we were all waiting for, it was time for some competition!

Take a look at the other teams’ robots! Don’t they look amazing!

Although there were six tasks given, it was impossible to complete all the tasks in two minutes. Therefore, all teams focused on these three least difficult tasks.

  1. Placing the Lunar Flag Module in one of four designated rock locations.

2. Sample Collection: Collect moon rocks and place them in collection bins or Lunar Module (LM) Starting Box.

3. Communications Repair (multiplier): Raise the damaged antenna to re-restablish communication with the Command Module Columbia, and to initiate the launch for orbital rendezvous.

We are ready to play!

Nothing can compare to the knowledge and friendships I gained. I am proud of how far we have come and all the hardships we have gone through together.

Some special mentions:

Thank you, Jaryl for being the best comrade. I am truly grateful for our friendship. I appreciate everything you have done for me and all the spontaneous outings we had.

I know you will achieve great things in life, I believe in you.

Dream big and grind hard.

Thank you my Egyptians for taking care of my food and my prayers. I can’t count the number of times you brought food to me. Thank you for teaching me the Arabic language and teaching me more about my religion.

Finding halal food has been really difficult but you definitely made it a hundred times easier.

This is just the beginning, I know we will meet again.

To my team, you taught me so much. I am blessed to meet such talented individuals like you. I’m proud of the late nights working on the robots and our accomplishments.

My brothers, thank you for all the fun and nonsense. I will definitely miss them.

The organising committee. This event would not have been a success without you.

And lastly, my family, friends, and partner. Thank you for always believing in me and supporting me in my dreams.
