こんにちは皆さん！
It’s Wednesday now and it’s turning into a very busy week ahead. This weekend, the lab is going out for a trip where we will spend one day presenting about the Industry Analysis Project we have been working on, and another day having some fun activities. In my group, we are analyzing how the Marriage Industry will be drastically affected by AI in the next 3 years. It seemed fairly difficult at first but I learnt a lot on the way. In the analysis, we used a number of frameworks to formalize our thoughts and it allowed us to think more coherently and develop targeted and good strategies that companies in the industry can take in obtaining a more competitive edge. On first glance, it does not seem like it would be useful to an engineering student, but after going through it, I feel that some of the frameworks can be used in different contexts, like in developing a product or an app, to formalize the way we think about our projects and give us ideas and starting points on how we can develop it further.
Other than that, we’ve got our other mods to work for. There’s a Design Thinking module where we need to CAD a mug and make a poster for this Friday’s class. I procrastinated (oops) and so now I gotta work on it quickly!!!
Yeah.. this is just a quick update, nothing much. I’ll blog again next week after the 2 day trip, look forward to it!
