This week, we made our way back to Busan for an annual fireworks festival. It was a huge event where many locals and tourists would gather and enjoy a two hours long fireworks display off Gwangali beach.

You can see many Koreans gathering early to “chope” the best spots for viewing the fireworks (Singaporeans aren’t the only “kiasu” people). Some even prepared tents and lots of food.

The fireworks display was amazing!

This is no photography trick, we were that close to the action.

The most amazing part was that the moment the display was over, everyone dispersed quickly and efficiently. There was little to no shoving and everyone just made their way to the nearest transportation in a rather orderly fashion. This is unlikely the NDP fireworks display in Singapore where the movement of crowds is usually slow, chaotic and frustrating.
