Koreans are somewhat obsessed with things that are ‘healing’. Many things can be considered healing. Nice peaceful parks, good weather, a clean meal. In Daejeon, there is the healing red clay trail. It’s a hike up Gyejoksan, taking only like half an hour. Of course, perfect after our trip to Seoul.

The trail itself was really nice, covered in autumn colors. The clay however, was largely frozen, which was unideal for walking barefoot on. We only managed to find some soft clay near the end of the trail. At least we got some healing happening.

Oh, and theres a really nice fortress at the top of the hike
