Group photo during the cultural exchange night at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics

Hello everyone! I’m Justin Tan.  During this Singapore-Sino Undergraduate Exchange Programme (SSUE) trip, we had visited Chengdu and also Guiyang in China. The participants for the SSUE includes students from SUTD, NUS , NTU and also SMU. Although this is not the first time that I have been to China, it is my first time that I had to climb lots of mountains and walked many flights of stairs. It is definitely the most tiring and yet enjoyable and fun trip. The sceneries in Chengdu and Guiyang were superb and breathtaking. We visited natural habitats like 青城山 (the Panda Village from Kungfu Panda 3), 都江堰 (amazing irrigation process), 成都大熊猫繁育研究基地 (cute giant panda and red panda),   黃果樹瀑布 (the giant waterfall) and also 西江苗寨 (beautiful costume and rice wine). Here are some of the pictures taken during the trip.

俊成 and 雪妮 from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics sent us off airport before we flow to Guiyang for our second part of the exchange programme.

The time we spent there was fulfilling and also had foster friendships with the students from each respective universities.  Hope to see the Chinese students soon when they are here in Singapore next week!
