One of the yearly events that makes Louvain la Neuve special is the 24h Velo. In which students build floats around bicycles and ride them around the city. The university as a whole comes together to celebrate and participate in the event, with both students and teachers alike participating in the event. In my opinion, such an event, playing to SUTD’s strengths involving mechanical projects, would build a more lively social culture in the school.
