Before the commencement of KAIST KISS program 2019, I was in doubt that the trip would be a fun and fulfilling one because of the language barrier. However, to my surprise, this has turned out to be a non-existent concern at all. Everyone I met in Korea could speak simple English, good enough for you to not get lost wandering through the city.

I have taken two courses throughout this four-week program, namely, Basic Korean and Brain, Vision, and Arts. Both courses are very interesting, especially the morning Korean class. The professor was a pretty young lady who speaks fluent English and Korean. She is marvelous in making the lesson more engaging for us by teaching us interesting Korean phrases which are handy in daily conversation.

Don’t worry about adapting to a new environment, you will love the school once you arrive!!
