You could say it was an emotional week – not only did we have to submit our final assignments and take our final assessments, we also had to slowly bid each and every bit of our time here at Stanford goodbye. It was to be a week of many lasts, the last walk to class, the last meal at the dining hall, the last night spent staying up with our friends, the last time to explore Stanford and venture out.

We started the week with an IHP farewell! We gathered in the courtyard over a spread of finger foods, taking a trip down memory lane and reminiscing all the special moments and experiences we had shared over the past eight weeks. Lots of photos were taken too – if you didn’t instagram it, it didn’t happen right? Just kidding, all we wanted to do was capture the memories and friendships forged in that short period of time.

We also took our first (near-full) SUTD group photo after nearly two months of being here! Don’t need to pursue graduate studies when we already have our master’s degrees – masters of procrastination, that is. All decked out in our uniform SUTD gear – mostly, anyway – we resembled tourists on a tour and in return got a few looks from people around. Nonetheless, it was great starting this summer programme with this bunch, and ending it with them too! I’m sure we all enjoyed ourselves, but it’s goodbye for now. Farewell Stanford, till next time.
