Its been close to a month since i first came to China, and the TFI LEaRN scholars back at Hushu special school. This time, we’re here to help out at Hushu’s children’s day event. Again, our roles were similar to that during sports day. With the added help from ZJU students, we were tasked with bringing the kids around, encouraging them while they play and playing the games with them! This experience was truly special as we got to interact closely with the kids! They were really enthusiastic about interacting with us and were extremely excited to talk to us and sharing with us whatever they were excited about. It opened my eyes as I saw these students not as someone with special needs, but as Kids. The experience as a whole was thoroughly enriching and the memories of the kids at Hushu has left a deep impression in my heart.
