The girls from SUTD climbers joined in for some fun at the Woman Up! climbing festival in Dogpatch on 22nd July. Woman up! is a competition that celebrates women in climbing and there were women of all ages that come and compete with others while having fun at the same time. The competition was huge, there were booths selling food, climbing equipment and workshops being held all at the same time. We even got to meet the 10-time national champion female climbing athlete, Alex Puccio! We had a lot of fun getting cool laptop stickers and buying various merchandise after our competition.
I’m grateful for the climbing guys helping to take care of us and giving us tips on the routes!
