The best way to meet new people and make friends is to join a club and participate in the club activities.
I was browsing through the list of clubs on the student association website, and I came across the name, “Aalto Beer Pong”.
I WAS SOLD.
I joined one of their parties and played for the beer pong for the first time. Contrary to popular belief, there was no beer in the cups, it was just water.
I was not that good at it initially, but I got a hang of it as I played a few more games signed up as a member to get updated on more events.

There were a few events that I participated in such as the Spring Beer Pong League and the Beer Pong Tournament. Me and my partner were able to get to the playoffs in the Spring League but were swiftly eliminated in the first round.
For the Beer Pong Tournament, it was very intense, and we faced very experienced opponents, so we weren’t able to get to the knockout stages.

However, it was not much about the games you win but the real winning comes from the experience you get playing Beer Pong with your friends and having a great time together 😀
